Join us on a heartwarming journey as we showcase the incredible Agroecological School Project, which took place from June 5th to August 26th. This transformative initiative involved 80 students ranging from 1 to 13 years old, 17 dedicated staff members, and approximately 30 community volunteers. Together, they made a significant impact on the environment and their local community.
During the project, a total of 170 trees were planted, with 100 of them being contributed by the Seas of Trees project and the remaining 70 from the endangered species project. Every participating child received their very own tree, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.
The planting site, Mayrahu local farm, served as the perfect backdrop for this meaningful endeavor. The diverse range of tree species planted included cacau, abacaxi, mandarine, jenipapo, rambutan, cupuaçu, banana "Prata," and banana "maçã." Each of these species adds to the biodiversity and sustainability of the region.

Seas of Tree, in collaboration with OISCA Nepal Chapter and the incredible support of 385 faculty and student volunteers from J.P Higher Secondary School, recently embarked on a mission to make a tangible difference in our environment. Our collective effort resulted in the planting of an astounding 1500 trees in the serene surroundings of Subarneshwor Mahadev Temple, Katunje - Bhaktapur.
We are excited to share that this incredible initiative, aimed at restoring and preserving the natural beauty of our environment, is made possible through the continued support of the LIDS Foundation. So far, the foundation has sponsored an impressive 2000 trees as part of our larger 4000 tree project.

Seas of Trees together with SUP Asia, local students and teacher volunteers were able to plant 1000 mangrove trees in Kampot, Cambodia.
With this Project we were able to provide an environmental education opportunity for youth in Kampot to learn about the local mangrove ecosystem, to visit and explore mangrove forests and participate in a service learning experience to plant trees in the mangrove forest project and prepare seedlings for the nursery for future planting.
The need for the project was evident. The students engaged in experiential learning which is not offered through school curriculum. Students enjoyed their time in the project and took pride in their efforts. These one thousand trees will help improve the livelihood of the fishermen, help prevent coastal erosion, provide carbon sequestration, and support a delicate ecosystem for all living beings today and in the future.
Seas of Trees in Partnership with We Do Green Organization was able to successfully conduct a Climate Education and Reforestation activity in Ngeruka - Bugesera District, Rwanda themed “Plant a Tree, Save the Future.”
The planting event convened GS Rutonde students and their teachers, environmental students from University of Rwanda, community members of the village, local administration, practitioners, youth-led CSOs/eco-startups (a community of WDGO-Youth Climate Champions), and the collective effort aimed to enhance youth’s knowledge and actions to address the rapidly escalating global climate crisis as well as conserving biodiversity, restoring landscapes, and strengthening their communities.
