This video highlights our tree-planting and ecological education initiative at Escola Comunitária Maramar in Maraú, Bahia. Together with 82 students, teachers, school staff, community members, and partners, we planted 125 trees and helped develop sustainable landscaping rooted in permaculture principles.

The project ran from March to August and included creating gardens around classrooms, establishing herbal beds, expanding the agroforestry area, planting fruit trees, reinforcing slope protection, and integrating environmental learning aligned with Waldorf pedagogy.

Beyond planting, this collaboration supports long-term environmental education, food production for school meals, and community involvement—empowering children with hands-on ecological learning they will carry for life.
